The Opportunity
ANKH Executive has been exclusively retained to appoint a Senior Solutions Consultant – Enterprise Payments (Europe) for a global financial technology organisation.
This is a high-impact, client-facing technical presales role supporting enterprise payments platform sales across Europe, working with leading banks and financial institutions.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor within complex enterprise software sales cycles, engaging at both business and architecture level across strategic opportunities.
The Mandate
- Support sales teams in identifying, shaping and closing complex enterprise payments opportunities
- Lead deep-dive discovery sessions across business and technical stakeholders
- Deliver demonstrations of enterprise payments platforms and underlying architecture
- Lead solution architecture discussions including integration layers, APIs and messaging frameworks
- Design and articulate end-to-end payment flows (RTGS, ACH, cross-border, real-time rails)
- Support technical solution architecture across payment hubs and orchestration layers
- Own and contribute to RFI/RFP responses with strong technical positioning
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable platform solutions
- Advise banks on payments architecture, clearing and settlement models, and infrastructure modernisation
- Support competitive positioning at both functional and architectural level
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering and delivery teams
The Profile
- 10+ years in enterprise software, fintech or banking technology environments
- Strong technical presales / solutions consulting experience in payments platforms
- Ability to engage at architecture level with both technical and business stakeholders
- Deep understanding of enterprise payments architecture, payment hubs and orchestration layers
- Experience with ISO 20022, SWIFT messaging, APIs and integration frameworks
- Strong knowledge of RTGS, ACH, cross-border and real-time payment systems
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear client value propositions
- Experience supporting enterprise software sales cycles with banks
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Commercial mindset combined with strong technical credibility
