Why This Role Is Different
This is a senior enterprise sales role focused on driving transaction banking platform growth across JAPAC, with a strong emphasis on Japan and leading regional financial institutions.
You will lead large, complex sales cycles involving mission-critical on-premise platforms, while also expanding adoption of cloud-based collaboration and workflow enhancement modules that modernise existing banking environments.
The role offers significant regional visibility, exposure to Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks, and the opportunity to shape how traditional transaction banking platforms evolve in a hybrid on-premise + cloud model.

What You Will Own
- End-to-end ownership of enterprise sales across JAPAC
- Large on-premise transaction banking solution sales, particularly in Trade Finance
- Expansion of cloud and collaboration modules alongside existing core platforms
- Senior relationships with banking executives across Japan, Singapore, and wider APAC
- Strategic pursuits with major Japanese banks (Red / Blue / Green groups) as well as leading regional banks
- Execution of structured regional go-to-market plans
- Close collaboration with Product, Presales, Delivery, and Marketing teams
- Forecasting, pipeline governance, and executive-level reporting
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- 10+ years in enterprise transaction banking or banking software sales
- Strong experience selling complex on-premise platforms into banks
- Proven ability to position cloud or SaaS components alongside legacy systems
- Solid domain understanding of:
- Trade Finance and transaction banking workflows
- Front-to-back banking operations
- Regulatory and messaging standards (SWIFT / ISO)
- Experience selling to, or working with, Japanese banks is a strong advantage
- Established relationships within Singapore-based and regional banks highly valued
- Track record closing large enterprise deals (USD 1–5M+)
- Comfortable operating in a global, matrix organisation
- Willingness to travel regularly across JAPAC
