
Senior Regional Sales Manager – Core Banking Platforms (APAC)

A global financial technology leader is seeking a Senior Regional Sales Manager – Core Banking Platforms (APAC) to originate and close large-scale Core Banking platform deals across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan, while serving as a recognised Core Banking authority to senior banking executives in the region.
This is a Director-level individual contributor mandate combining deep domain credibility with direct revenue ownership.
Scope of Responsibility
• Originate and close full Core Banking replacement programs
• Drive modular core transformation across deposits, CASA, product configuration and general ledger environments
• Position legacy core migration strategies and phased modernisation roadmaps
• Engage banks on hybrid architecture and integration across payments, channels and regulatory frameworks
• Compete against established Tier-1 Core Banking vendors in complex enterprise sales environments
• Target Tier 1, Tier 2 and leading digital banks across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan
The role carries full regional revenue ownership and is supported by dedicated presales, solution architects and consulting teams.
Profile Sought
We are seeking a Core Banking market authority and enterprise rainmaker who:
• Is a proven enterprise hunter and closer of complex Core Banking platform deals
• Has personally originated and closed large-scale Core Banking platform sales
• Demonstrates strong functional understanding of core banking architecture (deposits, GL, configuration, integration)
• Maintains strong C-suite relationships across APAC banks
• Has competed directly against major Core Banking platform vendors
• Thrives in competitive, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales environments
• Demonstrates the ability to translate Core Banking strategy discussions into structured commercial outcomes
• Is currently based in Singapore and authorised to work without requiring new employment sponsorship
Recognised Core Banking market credibility, including visible participation in industry forums, executive discussions or thought leadership, is highly valued.
Compensation Structure
• 50/50 OTE structure
• Uncapped earnings potential
• Commission on a single mega-deal can reach up to USD 500K
• Backed by strong enterprise support infrastructure
Relevant Technology & Industry Exposure
Experience in enterprise Core Banking platforms such as:
FIS, Fiserv (core banking platforms), Temenos, Finastra, Oracle Banking (Flexcube), TCS BaNCS, Infosys Finacle, Intellect Design Arena, Avaloq, SAP Fioneer, Thought Machine, Mambu, 10x Banking, Sopra Banking Software, or comparable enterprise Core Banking providers.
