Reporting directly to the APAC Managing Director, you will take charge of new business growth and strategic expansion across ASEAN for a global fintech recognised for its enterprise-grade payments platforms.

The mandate is clear:
build pipeline, close strategic deals, and grow market presence using one of the broadest and most integrated payments portfolios in the market — across on-premise and cloud deployments.

This role suits a confident, commercially mature seller who wants trust, autonomy, and a seat close to decision-making.

You will represent a platform that enables:

What You Will Own

  • Full responsibility for new business development and revenue growth across ASEAN
  • Ownership of the entire sales lifecycle: opportunity identification, pursuit strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and closure
  • Strategic account engagement with Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks and financial institutions
  • Accurate forecasting and pipeline management across short-, mid- and long-term horizons
  • Identification and execution of regional market opportunities aligned with business priorities
  • Collaboration with partners, consultancies, and system integrators to expand reach
  • Close partnership with presales and delivery teams to ensure strong solution positioning
  • Contribution of market intelligence and customer insight to regional leadership

What Makes You a Strong Fit

  • 10–15+ years of enterprise software sales experience in financial services
  • Deep specialisation in Payments solutions, with a proven hunter-closer track record
  • Experience selling to Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks across ASEAN
  • Strong understanding of payments ecosystems, platforms, and buying cycles
  • Established C-level and senior banking relationships in the region
  • Ability to operate independently while influencing stakeholders across a global organisation
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and executive-level engagement skills
  • Comfortable carrying a significant revenue mandate with autonomy and accountability
  • Fluent English; willingness to travel regionally

Relevant Industry & Technology Background

Experience selling payments or financial services platforms from vendors such as:

FIS, Fiserv, ACI, Global Payments, Temenos, Oracle/Flexcube, Finastra, SAP, ASG, TCS, DXC, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys/Finacle, Broadbridge, SS&C, Smartstream, or similar enterprise providers.
