The Opportunity

ANKH Executive has been exclusively retained to appoint a Senior Solutions Engineer – Enterprise Payments (APAC) for a global financial technology organisation.

This is a high-impact, client-facing presales role focused on the technical design, architecture and positioning of enterprise payments platforms used by leading banks and financial institutions across Asia-Pacific.

You will work closely with senior sales leadership and product teams, acting as a key technical advisor in complex enterprise software sales engagements.


The Mandate

You will play a central role in driving technical presales activities across enterprise payments, including:

• Supporting sales teams in identifying, shaping and closing complex enterprise opportunities
• Designing end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise payments platforms
• Leading technical discovery sessions with client stakeholders
• Delivering technical demonstrations, workshops and proof-of-concepts
• Translating business requirements into scalable, API-driven technical solutions
• Advising on integration approaches, APIs and system architecture
• Supporting implementation considerations across complex system landscapes
• Collaborating with product, engineering and delivery teams to validate solutions
• Supporting deal strategy with strong technical positioning and differentiation


The Profile

We are seeking a senior technical presales professional with strong enterprise payments expertise.

The ideal candidate:

  • 12+ years of professional experience in enterprise software, fintech or banking technology environments
  • Strong technical presales or solution engineering background
  • Deep understanding of enterprise payments systems and architecture
  • Experience with payment hubs, RTGS, ACH, cross-border and real-time payment systems
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, integration patterns and system design
  • Experience supporting enterprise software sales cycles with banks and financial institutions
  • Ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Exposure to cloud-native and modern architectures (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • Understanding of event-driven systems and messaging frameworks
  • Familiarity with non-functional architecture (scalability, HA/DR, security, performance)

Relevant Technology & Industry Exposure

Experience in enterprise payments platform vendors such as:

FIS, Fiserv, ACI Worldwide, Volante Technologies, Finastra, Temenos, Oracle (Flexcube), TCS BaNCS, Infosys Finacle, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Tech Mahindra, Wipro, HCL, NEC, NTT Data, Hitachi Payments, Huawei (Payments), Ant International, Tencent Financial Technology, Alipay+, Bottomline Technologies, CGI, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, IBM, or similar providers of enterprise payments platforms and banking infrastructure.
