ANKH Executive has been exclusively retained to appoint a Senior Sales Solution Manager – Cards UK & Europe for a global market leader in banking and payments technology.

Following a significant strategic acquisition in the cards issuing and processing sector, the organisation has further consolidated its leadership position across Europe.

This appointment forms part of the International Banking Solutions Growth Office and represents a high-impact regional leadership mandate.

The Opportunity

This role carries responsibility to:

  • Build, elevate and lead the European Cards Solution Consulting function
  • Define and execute regional presales strategy
  • Oversee strategic enterprise pursuits and complex RFI/RFP programmes
  • Provide senior-level expertise on Tier-1 deals
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Client Engagement and Professional Services leadership
  • Influence major issuing and digital transformation initiatives across banks and FinTechs

The compensation package reflects the seniority and strategic importance of this mandate and is aligned with leading European banking technology leadership benchmarks.

Candidate Profile

  • Deep domain expertise in Cards Issuing & Processing (UK & Europe)
    • Strong commercial and technical acumen
    • Experience across Debit, Credit, Prepaid and BNPL propositions
    • Background in SaaS and licensed enterprise solution positioning
    • Proven leadership within presales / solution consulting environments
    • Executive-level communication and stakeholder influence capability

Relevant Technology & Industry Exposure

Experience in enterprise card issuing and payments processing platforms from vendors such as:

FIS, Fiserv (including First Data), Worldline, ACI Worldwide, HPS (PowerCARD), BPC (SmartVista), OpenWay (Way4), TSYS, Global Payments, Nexi, Netcetera, Paymentology, Marqeta, Visa (including Pismo), Mastercard Processing, or comparable providers of card issuing processing, digital issuing, CMS transformation and large-scale payments infrastructure.
