The Opportunity

ANKH Executive has been exclusively retained to appoint a Senior Solutions Consultant – Enterprise Payments for a global financial technology organisation.

This is a high-impact technical presales role supporting complex enterprise software sales across ANZ, focused on enterprise payments platforms and real-time payment infrastructure.

You will operate as a bridge between sales, product, and engineering, engaging directly with banks on both functional and deep technical solution design.

The Mandate

You will lead technical presales activities across enterprise payments, including:

  • Supporting complex enterprise sales cycles with deep technical solution ownership
  • Leading client discovery across architecture, infrastructure, and integration landscapes
  • Delivering solution demonstrations, technical workshops, and architecture presentations
  • Leading RFI/RFP responses including non-functional domains (HA, DR, security, scalability, integration)
  • Designing end-to-end solutions across payment platforms, APIs, and banking infrastructure
  • Supporting Proof of Concepts (POCs) and client validation exercises
  • Collaborating with product, engineering, and delivery teams on solution feasibility and architecture alignment
  • Contributing to technical positioning, competitive differentiation, and go-to-market strategy

The Profile

We are seeking a senior technical presales leader with deep expertise in enterprise payments platforms.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has strong experience in payment platforms (non-negotiable)
  • Brings proven presales / solution consulting leadership experience
  • Has led technical presales engagements (not just functional demos)
  • Understands payment architectures including issuing, switching, clearing, and settlement
  • Has experience with enterprise integration (APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures)
  • Is comfortable discussing non-functional architecture (scalability, HA/DR, security, performance)
  • Has exposure to modern technology stacks, including:
    • Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
    • APIs (REST, OpenID/OIDC)
    • Messaging (Kafka, MQ)
    • Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
    • Containerisation (Kubernetes)
  • Has supported complex RFP/RFI responses with deep technical input
  • Confident engaging both CIO / CTO level and business stakeholders

Experience Background

Candidates typically come from:

FIS, Fiserv, ACI Worldwide, Volante, Finastra, Temenos, BPC, OpenWay, Compass Plus, TCS BaNCS, Infosys Finacle, or similar payments processing vendors
